Maria Chelidoni
Maria Chelidoni is a Greek actress of stage and screen and a drama teacher of Acting and Improvisation. She graduated from Drama School of Athens and she also holds an MA degree in Theater Pedagogy from Theater Academy of Helsinki.
From 2010 till 2024 she worked primarily as a Drama teacher in Greece, Finland and UK teaching acting and improvisation in Art Schools and Colleges: Art School of Athens, Art School of Crete, Art School of Thessaloniki, YAFTA Academy (UK), Outokumpu School of Dance (Finland), Lajasaalo College (Finland), Sibelius Lukio (Finland) to mention a few. She has also worked as an AD for several stage productions.
As an actor she has worked mainly for theater with the past few years working occasionally in front of the camera as well. Some of her participations:

Wonderfully Alone was her first short film as a director. It gained international recognition and eight (8) awards for Best First time Filmmaker and Best Actress for Maria Chelidoni, among others. Her second short film, Gods have Problems too, production of 2025 has also gained several official selections, nominations and awards globally.
In 2024 she started her own company ReStArt Entertainment, as an effort to promote young, aspiring talents in Greece. "Missing dad, finding a mum" short film, “Gods have problems too” short film, “Autumn Leaves” short film and “A Marriage Proposal” stage play by An. Chekhov are their productions so far.
For five years she acted as a member of the jury for the entrance exams in Art Schools in Greece.
She speaks: Greek, English, French, Finnish (basic) and Korean (writing & reading).
